Education and Training
To further validate the surgical skills and years of experience he gained while completing general surgical training in Perth Dr. Padovan underwent 2 additional fellowships in the USA, a one year fellowship in breast surgery at the prestigious University of Rochester and a 2 year training in weight loss surgery and associated cosmetic surgery (tummy tuck, liposuction, arm lift and body lift) at the leading weight loss surgery centre at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Padovan has been trained in the safest liposuction technique by the inventor of the tumescent liposuction technique Dr. Jeffrey Klein.
Dr. Gordon Padovan is certified by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as well as the Royal College of Surgeons Canada and is a member of American Academy for Cosmetic Surgery.
